What Our Customers Say
Disappointing Fit and Material
Posted by Ms. Picky McPickerson on 5th Dec 2018
I am a loyal Maggie's Organic's customer and I love love love the "circle dress" and "The Dress." It could just be that this tuck dress isn't great on my type of short and curvy figure, but I found it very unflattering. I was also confused by a separate panel that is used to create the "V" in the front of the dress. The panel was strange to me and the "V" fell strangely over my "ladies." Part of the reason I love MO products is the effortlessness and comfort of the products. I found the tuck dress awkward to put on and tight in the wrong places. Even wearing it backwards, I found it odd. It is possible I would do better with a large (I usually wear medium in MO tops and dresses), but I just don't see this piece as part of my regular wear. Plus, the quality of the fabric (made in India) doesn't have the softness of the Peruvian cotton. Of course, that may change with wash and wear. I could see this dress being super cute on a less curvy figure. (I looks lovely on the models pictured above.) If you are curvy, I might suggest ordering a size larger than you typically wear. After years of ordering and wearing MO, this will be my very first return.
