For all Maggie's products: Wash with like colors, use non-chlorine bleach if necessary and use eco-friendly detergents.

When possible, we recommend line or hanger drying all of our products, machine drying burns most of the fossil fuels in garment care.

SOCKS

Organic Cotton Socks – Adult and Kids
Machine Wash Warm, Tumble Dry Low

A note about our Sock Sizing and Shrink: All of our socks are carefully knit to fit the sizing on our size chart. Our QC process actually includes counting each 'course' or stitch row to make sure. However, socks may "pull in", especially after washing and drying. Rest assured that socks may look too small, but they are designed to stretch right onto your foot, even after many washings.

**NOTE: If you haven't tried our Wool socks since 2013, you'll be pleasantly surprised! Our Organic Merino Wool is softer than ever.  Plus all of our Wool is now treated with a very special eco-friendly anti-shrink treatment, the first ever to be certified to global organic textile standards (GOTS).  For best results: Wash all Maggie's Wool Socks inside out and line dry.  Your socks will stay soft and stretchy for years.

APPAREL

Machine Wash Cold, Line Dry

A note about shrink: Our fabric is pre-shrunk, but with hot water, not chemicals. If machine drying, you can expect 1" shrink in length and width on most garments. Many folks machine dry our apparel, and you can expect it to respond just like other cotton clothing.  However, for best results, we recommend machine wash in cold water (inside out is best) and line dry...best for the planet and for your clothes.
