Organic Cotton Socks - Allergy Crew

Thank you so much, Maggie’s Organics! My daughter has been suffering allergies in her legs and ankles due to her skin reacting to the elastic and synthetic fibers and chemicals used on most socks. I have spent so much money trying different socks. Finally, I found your site and purchased 3 pairs. Wow! What a difference! You have a customer for life. Thank you for your products and recognizing the need that so many of us have for better comfort and sanity! Hearts.

Finding true 100% cotton men's dress socks (very thin like Gold Toe) has always been a challenge in my 65 years. I've read the rarity is because of cotton loom clogging issues and the need for several sizes. Penny's used to carry them in various colors long ago, and in about a dozen sizes each since they didn't stretch much. They covered an entire wall. When Penny's went down, that left 'Buster Brown Women's Elastic-Free Cotton Socks' I'd order in the largest size available from Amazon. Buster's have been unavailable now for several months so I thought I'd try these Maggie's I found from a Google search. Alas, they aren't thin like a dress sock. For those looking for all cotton with some thickness, however, these are The Real McCoy to use an old timey expression. I'll be using the test pair I ordered for sleeping. I cut the bit of elastic on top off, although this will eventually induce fraying after washings. Even with the cheapest shipping option, they came in just a couple days. This really appears to be a first class outfit, and I hope one day they introduce a thin dress version of this item.

first ordered regular crew in med, but then swtched to allergy crew in small....wow!...while they are huge on my size 5's do really appreciate the tiny, tiny elastic in tops and the great feel of the material

I am a Men's 9.5 shoe size but the medium fit a lot better than the large. They wash well and they are comfortable but they stretch (and fall down) as the day goes on (but shrinks back with a wash). But looks to be the best commercial option for an almost fully organic cotton sock!

I have wide calves and these socks work perfectly because they don't constrict. I also like knowing they are organic cotton, for health. I don't buy anything else.

The best I've ever worn, these socks, natural color, size XL, are a perfect fit for my shoe size 13.5 to 14.
