Organic Cotton - Bootcut Pants - FINAL SALE

Just want to start off by saying that the last reviewer helped convince me to buy these, and I'm glad they did. I completely agree about the photographs- switch up the order, and maybe do a typical set of "from the front/side/back" with shoes. My place of work is casual so I can wear them to work and working out, but if I want to dress up with these a long shirt and boots look just fine. Comfortable everyday pants, versatile, and affordable.

I received a Maggie's email about the new fall line and figured I should check it out. I have been living in Maggie's Organic Capri's, Printed Bottom Capri's and Sleeveless Tunics all summer, but needed to start thinking about my fall and winter wear. I am all about Fair Trade and wearing Organic Cotton and my drawer was filled with pants that needed to retired to sleepwear. Needless to say I am very impressed by these pants! These come in that same weight fabric as their straight leg pants, which I absolutely love. They have a nice waistband that you can wear up or folded down. The fabric weight is fantastic and has the right amount of spandex to give you some shaping, but still feel the soft organic cotton. There is a wonderful seam along the back that makes for a fantastic rear view. My hubby has been looking at the same tush for over 25 years, so if he says it looks great, that's a big deal! I love boot cut because it allows me to wear my boots when walking to the gym in the rain and snow. I personally think bootcut is a universally flattering cut. Although I plan these for work (personal trainer and fitness instructor) these can easily transition into a flattering ensemble with a Maggie's tunic, or top with one of their many jackets and go to work in an casual office environment and still look polished and professional. I have the cotton long jacket and they look great together. If this pant came in more colors, I would certainly buy more, (like Marsala and Navy, hint, hint!). Note to Maggie's advertising: Lose the first picture of these pants in the socks. Makes them look like they will be too short for the average person to wear with a boot. (I have to take mine up (I am a shorty). I love the photo with the cape and boots and the yoga pose pic. I almost didn't even look at them due to the 1st photo. I would have lost out on these terrific pants!
