What Our Customers Say
Life is better in these socks!

Hyperbole? No! Warm, durable, and oh so comfy! I’ve been wearing these daily, for years. Living in a cold climate, they keep me cozy around the house and work well in my snow boots, too. I do wear them pretty much year-round, however. Each pair lasts for years - through many, many machine washings - and are very resistant to developing holes at the toe. Given how long they last, they’re a great value! As they age (after several years of wear), they tend to become a bit thinner, so I wear my older pairs for hiking, and my newer, fluffy pairs in my roomy house shoes. I love these SO much!
BLUE 9-11 SOCKS

Extremely happy with the actual color of my new blue socks. They're more of a grey/blue/denim look which will blend in or go with more stuff. I have owned the raspberry pink for years - easy to find because of the color, but wished many times that I had a more neutral sock color in the wool Killington. The blue works. Love these socks!

The Killington Hikers are comfortable and wear extremely well. Can't ask for more.

These are the softest warmest winter socks you can buy. My husband and I love them, and they are essential to cold feet.

I just received three more pairs since they were on sale...I've had two pairs for a few years now and wanted to add to my healthy, comfy wardrobe. These are great with boots!
A plus for Maggie's organic wool socks.

This morning I forgot & went out in a pair of heavy duty cotton winter boot socks. My feet FROZE after about 15 minutes at -1° temp. For comparison, my feet remained toasty warm for 1.5 hours at -24° with a wind chill of -30°!
I normally wear Maggie's Killington hiking socks or the tall boot socks, depending on what boots I have on. Worth every penny because they WORK & they last for YEARS!
Soft and warm

These are so soft, warm, and thick--perfect for hiking, but also perfect inside of dress boots at work. I made a New Year's resolution to only buy organic and ethical clothing, and so I'm glad I found Maggie's socks.
Just like the first SmartWools before SW turned into a junk brand

Wonderfully warm, good padding, wicks well. Keeps me toasty outside in the freezing temps and doesn't make my feet sweat when I'm inside in my boots (at the office). Super-soft and I love them for hiking, day-to-day or just around the house to keep my feet warm. A wonderful, quality product
Top notch wool socks!

My family loves these socks! They are warm, soft, thick, and durable after many washings. In fact I'm kind of waiting for the ones I've had for two years to get thin or worn so I can justify buying new ones! They really are well made socks. We no longer buy the bigger name brands, which aren't made of organic wool and aren't fair trade - and don't last as long.
Love My Socks!

Thank you Maggie for the wonderful organic apparel you offer. I started with the socks, but will be purchasing many more items in future! Great Quality!

Best socks ever !!!

Having ordered the snuggles and loved them, I decided to try these to get a sock that goes higher on the leg. I love these socks.... best ever. I often have trouble wearing wool, but not with these. They are soft and comfortable and warm.. without being too heavy. And.. they don't itch. Love, love, love them. I'll be buying more.... just waiting for another sale :-)
I don't wear much else. (When it comes to socks)

I have been buying and wearing these socks for years. I wear them everyday of the year in my work boots.
They are soft and the perfect thickness to match my boots.
OMG I love these socks

They are so warm and comfortable, not too tight-- just right. I can't sleep without them! Unfortunately, my puppies love to chew on them also. I have left instructions in my will--if I'm in a coma, make sure I have my Maggie's socks on.
swarm and wonderful

Socks keep my feet warm and comfy, with soft wool (no itching, yeah!). The tops are high enough to protect well in frigid weather.

The warmest & softest socks ever
Posted by Helene H. on 19th Dec 2014
I bought them for my 7-yr-old daughter who wants very warm socks for her feet but has sensitivity issues and had rejected many other organic wool socks in the past. She loved them. You can feel quality. I am going to order more in different colors.
I wash them in hot water and they are like new,
Also they were delivered about 3 days earlier than what I expected.
Best Socks I Have Ever Worn
Posted by Georgia on 16th Dec 2014
Maggie's hiking socks have just unfairly raised the bar on socks to impossible levels. They are warm, breathable, soft on skin and underfoot. They stay up but they don't bind. I used to like my regular sock collection but now I'm going to slowly phase it out and buy only Maggie's. Sorry, other socks.

Very warm and comfy. Only downside (which hasn't kept me from buy 4 pairs) is you have to be careful washing and drying (read the instructions) becase they wool gets 'bally' on the outside.

These seem like they'll be a great Christmas gift for my college-age nephew; keep his feet warm while walking on campus in RI. Always appreciate Maggie's fair trade, organic products that are also such high quality. They always last for years, so I'm expecting he'll get a lot of use out of these.
