Organic Wool Socks - Mountain Hiker

The heather (original color) Mountain Hikers are my favorites & fit great. I also got the newer solid colors in dark gray, dark blue & dark green but the ankle/leg area is slightly smaller for my slightly plump calf area. I am giving those to to other family members with smaller feet and legs. My well used 10+ yrs old pair was thin compared to the new plumper socks. One camping trip we had given a young couple in a campsite near ours, new pairs of these Mtn. Hikers as they were freezing up on the mountain. I was so overdue for getting myself new ones & will choose these again on my next order.

I really love these wool socks. I am not one to write reviews but I came back here to say these mountain socks are just awesome. they are super cozy, warm and soft but also durable. I normally wear 100% wool socks but they get holes in them easily however these stand up to me wearing them everyday with my Birkenstock Boston's. They keep my feet so warm but I don't sweat. I wish they also came in an extra large because I have pretty large feet but the large fits like they were made for me. I also like how they don't bunch up. These are just perfection on my feet and I had to come back to order two more pairs!

My husband is perennially in search of the perfect pair of socks- don't slip, not too tight around the ankle, warm, soft and cozy, long enough for his large feet. These organic wool mountain hiker socks are the winner.

I love these socks as they are the warmest socks I've found for home walking on wood floors. When needed I put a thinner pair underneath and that makes my feet super toasty.

Frustrating that I purchased these in the midst of a heat wave because when I tried them on I never wanted to take them off again. Beautiful, soft, cushy fit.
