Organic Cotton Socks - Classic Crew

These socks are fantastic. Just the right height, very soft like all Maggie's organic cotton is, yet also quite strong and durable. Great to support organic agriculture and get higher quality socks than you can find anywhere else!

I have been wearing Maggie's socks for over 10 years (they are almost the only stockings I wear). I love the colors, they last a very long time, launder well, and the fact that they are organic cotton is a real plus for me. I will continue to be a loyal customer!

Over ten years ago I bought a bunch of these socks at a health food coop in San Francisco, then we moved to several different places and could never find them. But over the years, they held up! I still have all of them and none of them have holes. They are the only socks that have ever lasted over 10 years! I recently started having foot problems and these cotton socks have been the only socks that make my feet feel better. I finally realized that it was time for some new ones and figured I could find them on the web but I couldn't remember the brand name. I started googling "organic cotton socks" and Maggies popped up. When I saw the brand, I realized these were the socks! At long last I could buy some new ones. I bought six pairs and have been wearing them every day. No other socks for me! I'm a customer for life! I love these socks. My sister's NJ grocery used to carry them, and after they stopped carrying them, I discovered I could order online. They are soft and comfortable, they stay up well, and they breathe beautifully. My favorite socks in the world. :-)

It is hard to be enthusiastic about socks but Maggie's cotton socks are my first preference. I like the way they fit and launder. My only hesitation about my last purchase is that I did not buy more while on sale.

I've been wearing these socks for years for work and casual wear. A bit pricey; I try to wait for a sale (usually twice a year) to stock up. Durability used to be more of an issue, wearing through at toes and heels. It seems that they last longer lately. Word of warning: order a size up. These socks shrink after washing. I would normally wear medium size socks, but after washing and shrinking, I'd be lucky to squeeze them onto my feet, so I go with large size for a good fit.

I love the simplicity and softness of this sock, but most important is that they offer different sizes! One size sock does not fit all as most companies seem to think. A tight sock is just as uncomfortable as a tight shoe. Thank you Maggie's for the best organic socks out there. I will always be your biggest fan:)
